Booking Form Settings

Booking Form Settings control the main customer booking experience in LimoSuite.

Use this page to enable or disable the booking form, control reservation cutoff times, require advance notice before pickup, set the minimum hourly booking duration, and choose the booking form accent color.

Main Settings

The Booking Form Settings page includes:

Enable Booking Form
Enable Reservation Cut-Off
Cut-Off Window
Enable Lead-Time Requirement
Lead-Time Hours
Minimum Hours for Hourly Mode
Accent Color

Enable Booking Form

This setting controls whether the customer-facing booking form is active.

When enabled:

Customers can use the booking form.

When disabled:

The booking form can be hidden or blocked depending on your frontend logic.

Use this when you need to temporarily pause online bookings.

Common reasons to disable the booking form:

Maintenance
Pricing updates
Seasonal closure
Testing before launch
Temporary service pause

Enable Reservation Cut-Off

Reservation Cut-Off lets you block pickups during a specific time window.

Example:

Cut-Off Start: 23:00
Cut-Off End: 05:00

This can prevent customers from booking pickups during hours you do not want to accept.

Use this for:

Overnight blackout windows
Limited service hours
Driver availability restrictions
Operational cutoff periods

Cut-Off Window

The Cut-Off Window contains two time fields:

Start Time
End Time

Example:

22:00 – 06:00

This means pickup times inside that window should be blocked if reservation cutoff is enabled.

Overnight Cut-Off Example

Recommended setup:

Enable Reservation Cut-Off: On
Cut-Off Window: 23:00 – 05:00

Effect:

Customers cannot select pickup times between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

Daytime Cut-Off Example

Recommended setup:

Enable Reservation Cut-Off: On
Cut-Off Window: 12:00 – 14:00

Effect:

Customers cannot select pickup times between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

Enable Lead-Time Requirement

Lead-Time Requirement controls how far in advance customers must book before pickup.

When enabled, LimoSuite checks whether the selected pickup time is far enough in the future.

Use this when you do not want customers booking too close to pickup time.

Example:

Lead-Time Hours: 4

Effect:

Customers must book at least 4 hours before pickup.

Lead-Time Hours

Lead-Time Hours is the minimum number of hours required before pickup.

Examples:

2 = customer must book at least 2 hours before pickup
4 = customer must book at least 4 hours before pickup
24 = customer must book at least 24 hours before pickup

For limo and black car companies, common lead-time settings are:

2 hours
4 hours
6 hours
12 hours
24 hours

Same-Day Booking Example

Recommended setup:

Enable Lead-Time Requirement: On
Lead-Time Hours: 4

Effect:

A customer booking at 10:00 AM cannot choose pickup before 2:00 PM.

Next-Day Only Example

Recommended setup:

Enable Lead-Time Requirement: On
Lead-Time Hours: 24

Effect:

Customers must book at least one day in advance.

Minimum Hours for Hourly Mode

This setting controls the fewest number of hours customers can select when using Hourly mode.

Example:

Minimum Hours: 3

Effect:

Customers cannot book hourly service for less than 3 hours.

Common hourly minimums:

2 hours
3 hours
4 hours
5 hours

For limo companies, a 3-hour or 4-hour minimum is common for hourly jobs.

Hourly Minimum Example

Recommended setup:

Minimum Hours for Hourly Mode: 3

Effect:

Hourly customers must book at least 3 hours.

Accent Color

Accent Color controls the primary color used across the booking UI.

It can affect:

Buttons
Highlights
Progress indicators
Selected states
Map/route accents, if supported by the frontend

The color should be a valid hex color.

Example:

#1E73BE

Do not use color names like:

blue
red
gold

Use hex format:

#1E73BE
#111827
#C9A227
#005BBB

Accent Color Best Practices

Choose a color that matches your brand.

Good examples:

Dark blue for premium transportation
Black or charcoal for luxury branding
Gold for executive/luxury service
Navy for corporate car service

Make sure the color has enough contrast for buttons and text.

Avoid very light colors for primary buttons unless your frontend automatically adjusts text contrast.

Recommended Starting Setup

For most companies, a safe starting setup is:

Enable Booking Form: On
Enable Reservation Cut-Off: Off
Enable Lead-Time Requirement: On
Lead-Time Hours: 4
Minimum Hours for Hourly Mode: 3
Accent Color: Your brand color

If you do not offer same-day bookings, use:

Lead-Time Hours: 24

If you operate 24/7, leave reservation cutoff disabled.

If you do not operate overnight, enable reservation cutoff and set your blocked window.

Testing Booking Settings

After changing Booking Form Settings:

  1. Save changes.
  2. Open the booking form in a new browser window.
  3. Test Point-to-Point booking.
  4. Test Hourly booking.
  5. Try a pickup time inside the cut-off window.
  6. Try a pickup time outside the cut-off window.
  7. Try a pickup time too soon for the lead-time rule.
  8. Confirm the accent color appears correctly.
